PG&E’s Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) is expected for portions of Humboldt County and the state. Power is expected to be restored by 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020.  Please check this page, text messages, and your Humboldt email for updates.

Please note: Students who are impacted by current or future power outages and cannot attend class should contact their instructor. Faculty who cannot teach a class should inform their chair and dean and also notify students in their course. Faculty are also asked to provide flexibility for students who report that they are unable to attend class. Staff impacted by outages should immediately contact their appropriate administrator for further direction.

Starting at midnight tonight, PG&E’s Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) is expected for portions of Humboldt County, according to the Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services. Power is expected to be restored by 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
